My review is only for one faculty of LACM, not for all of this college. Composing for visual media major of this school is incredibly terrible. Curriculum is cheap, and teachers of this faculty don?t teach seriously. Of course there are good teachers, but you have few chance to meet them because they are busy. We must know that good player isn?t always a good coach. Actually they work at real music industry, but it doesn?t mean they can teach well. After all, names of these famous people are used to tempt people who don?t know anything and think by themselves at all. I was a person like this, and I regret that It took so long time to notice this thing. I hope no one who has motivation to study hard is betrayed by bad teachers. By the way, performance faculty of this school is very nice, I think.

(Composing for visual media DPT is the "WORST" in this world) All my review is only about DPT of Composing for Visual Media (CVM), so it is not review of this college itself. Teachers of CVM don't teach anything seriously. This DPT's name is "Composition" but no one teaches how to compose music. At first, it is clear that some teachers in this DPT don't have enough skill and knowledge to compose and teach music. I sometimes asked my teacher about my problem, but he couldn't answer, and he said "See youtube". Of course, there are some good teachers, but because the person who made this curriculum is idiot, they can't teach area which they are good at (For example CVM has great engineer, but what students want to study is not engineering but composition). So bad teachers don't understand what we need. School should fire bad teachers and hire new teachers who has academic knowledge, and should modify this meaningless curriculum. I was so disappointed about this department.
