California Indian Nations College

California Indian Nations College (CINC) operates from its campus in Palm Desert, California, located in the Coachella Valley approximately 120 miles east of Los Angeles. Established in 2018 through partnerships with local tribal nations and the College of the Desert, CINC primarily serves Native American students while remaining open to all learners. The two-year public tribal college offers associate degrees and certificate programs with an emphasis on Native American studies, business administration, and social sciences. The institution maintains strong connections with local tribal communities and provides culturally responsive education that incorporates Indigenous knowledge and perspectives into its curriculum. Classes are currently held at the University of California Riverside's Palm Desert campus while CINC develops its permanent facilities.
