Bakersfield College, established in 1913 as a junior college and located in Bakersfield, California, is a public community college offering a variety of associate degrees, certificates, and transfer programs to a diverse student body. Situated approximately 110 miles north of Los Angeles, the college resides in a suburban area, providing a mixture of Southern California culture and a smaller community feel.
