The American Academy of Dramatic Arts-Los Angeles (AADA-LA) is a private conservatory located in the heart of Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, with a sole focus on the dramatic arts. Established in 1884 with its West Coast campus opening in 1974, AADA-LA offers an intimate campus feel amid the bustling entertainment capital renowned for its film and television industry. The institution is notable for its conservatory-style training in the performing arts and is known for a rigorous curriculum in acting, voice, and speech, with popular majors including Theater Arts and Acting. In the most recent statistical year 182 prospective students applied, and 164 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 56 enrolled in the school.  220 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 0 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $37,575 plus fees of $750.
