National Park Community College (NPCC) is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, situated in the Ouachita Mountain foothills approximately 55 miles southwest of Little Rock. The main campus occupies 120 acres of wooded terrain and features modern academic facilities, including recently constructed technical training centers. Established in 1973 through the merger of Garland County Community College and Quapaw Technical Institute, NPCC serves as the primary two-year college for Garland County and surrounding areas. The college offers associate degrees and technical certificates in fields such as nursing, business, computer information systems, and industrial technology, with many programs designed for direct workforce entry or transfer to four-year institutions. Students have access to campus resources including a library, student center, and computer labs, though the college operates as a commuter campus without residential facilities.
