Arizona Western College (AWC), established in 1963 and located in Yuma, Arizona, is a public community college providing educational opportunities and support for students in southwestern Arizona and bordering regions of California and Mexico. The college sits on a rural campus approximately 10 miles from the heart of Yuma and is a roughly 2.5-hour drive from Phoenix. AWC offers a variety of academic programs with popular majors including Nursing, Administration of Justice, and Agriculture. The institution is characterized by an open admissions policy, accommodating a diverse student body.
