Overview

Walsh University, a private Catholic university founded by the Brothers of Christian Instruction in 1960, is set in North Canton, Ohio, roughly 20 minutes away from Akron and within an hour?s drive of Cleveland. With a campus characterized by contemporary architecture and featuring facilities that encourage academic and extracurricular activities, the university spans over 136 acres offering a range of undergraduate, graduate, and online programs. Walsh is known for its distinguished nursing and business programs among its array of academic offerings. While the university maintains a moderately selective admissions process, it emphasizes a personalized educational experience with a student-to-faculty ratio that promotes individualized attention. In the most recent statistical year 2,659 prospective students applied, and 1,928 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 378 enrolled in the school.  1,725 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 584 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $31,420 plus fees of $1,815.
