Overview

Miami University, located in Oxford, Ohio, is a public research university founded in 1809 with a campus renowned for its red brick Georgian-style architecture. Situated in a small college town, the university is approximately 35 miles north of Cincinnati, offering a blend of rural charm and proximity to urban amenities. The institution supports a residential campus with the majority of undergraduates living on site across its residence halls and dining facilities. Academically, Miami University is recognized for its strong focus on undergraduate teaching, offering a variety of programs including popular majors in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services; Social Sciences; and Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.
