Overview

Ashland University, located in Ashland, Ohio, is a private institution founded in 1878. Known for its picturesque campus, the university features a notable Gothic Revival architecture, which contributes to its academic atmosphere. The campus is situated roughly midway between Cleveland and Columbus, providing access to metropolitan resources while maintaining a small-town feel. Ashland offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and online programs, with a particular emphasis on the Dwight Schar College of Education, which has garnered attention for its teacher education programs.
