The University of Central Florida (UCF), located in Orlando, is one of the largest universities by enrollment in the United States, with a diverse and extensive range of undergraduate and graduate academic programs, including prominent hospitality, business, education, and engineering programs. Founded in 1963 with the intent to provide talent for the U.S. space program, UCF stands out for its research facilities and initiatives in fields such as optics and lasers, modeling and simulation, digital media, and space sciences. As a relatively selective institution, UCF admits students through a competitive application process.
