Overview

The University of Tampa, located in the heart of Tampa, Florida, is a private institution that seamlessly blends traditional historical architecture with modern facilities. Founded in 1931, the university boasts a scenic 110-acre campus distinguished by its iconic Plant Hall, a national historic landmark previously known as the Tampa Bay Hotel. In the most recent statistical year 40,286 prospective students applied, and 10,615 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 1,878 enrolled in the school.  9,802 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 764 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $30,036 plus fees of $2,182.
