Central Michigan University (CMU), established in 1892, is a public research university located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. The campus exhibits a mix of modern and traditional architecture across its suburban setting. Offering a diverse array of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, CMU is notably strong in fields such as business administration, education, and health professions. With a moderately selective admissions process, the university draws a sizeable student population, providing both on-campus living accommodations and off-campus housing options.
