Mount Mary College

Overview

Mount Mary University, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is a private Catholic liberal arts university founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1913. Situated in an urban residential area, the university offers a serene campus environment a short distance from downtown Milwaukee. With a longstanding commitment to women's education, it provides a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, although some graduate level and adult programs are coeducational. Known for its strong programs in fashion design, dietetics, occupational therapy, and social work, Mount Mary promotes a focus on creativity and leadership. The university's application process is generally characterized as moderately selective. Mount Mary is a commuter-friendly campus with residential facilities that support student housing needs. While not primarily recognized for athletics, the institution fields a number of collegiate sports teams, known as the Blue Angels, but does not emphasize athletics as a core part of its identity.

In the most recent statistical year 1,339 prospective students applied, and 930 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 155 enrolled in the school.  1,006 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 192 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $32,700 plus fees of $690.
