Alverno College

Overview

Alverno College, established in 1887, is a private liberal arts institution located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, offering a curriculum rooted in the liberal arts tradition. A Catholic college founded by the School Sisters of St. Francis, Alverno is notable for an 8 Abilities curriculum that emphasizes hands-on experience and performance-based assessment over traditional grades.
