Penn State Lehigh Valley

Overview

Penn State Lehigh Valley, located in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a suburban campus of the Pennsylvania State University. Established in 1912, it is situated approximately one hour north of Philadelphia, providing access to the urban resources of a major city while maintaining a quiet campus environment. This undergraduate college emphasizes a range of associate and bachelor's degree programs, with particular attention to business, information sciences and technology, and psychology. The campus does not offer on-campus housing, encouraging students to integrate into the local community. While Penn State Lehigh Valley has a smaller, more selective admissions process compared to other universities, it retains the extensive network and resources inherent to the Penn State system. The campus is not specifically noted for its athletic programs, focusing instead on academic and extracurricular opportunities for its student body.

In the most recent statistical year 1,806 prospective students applied, and 1,699 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 267 enrolled in the school.  780 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 108 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $14,624 plus fees of $516.
