Overview

Cairn University, located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, is a private, nondenominational Christian university that sits in close proximity to Philadelphia. Founded in 1913 as the Philadelphia Bible Institute, the university has since expanded its academic offerings but maintains a strong biblical foundation in its curriculum. Cairn University is comprised of multiple schools, including the School of Divinity, the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Education, and the School of Social Work. While it maintains a holistic approach to education, integrating faith with academic rigor, the university is particularly noted for its programs in Theology, Business, and Education. The campus exudes a suburban atmosphere, with facilities designed to support both academic and spiritual growth. In the most recent statistical year 468 prospective students applied, and 379 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 202 enrolled in the school.  795 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 236 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $31,255 plus fees of $710.
