Messiah College

Overview

Messiah University, located in Grantham, Pennsylvania, is a private Christian college founded in 1909, with a suburban campus spanning 471 acres in the scenic Cumberland Valley. Approximately 12 miles southwest of Harrisburg, the college offers a tranquil setting proximate to a state capital's resources. The institution is known for its liberal arts and applied sciences curricula and offers a range of undergraduate programs with particular strength in Health and Natural Sciences, Business, Education, and the Arts. Messiah features a distinctive architectural style, with modern facilities that complement the surrounding natural environment. It is characterized by moderate application selectivity. On-campus living is an integral part of the student experience, with a variety of housing options available. While Messiah competes in NCAA Division III athletics, it is particularly recognized for its strong programs in soccer and wrestling.

In the most recent statistical year 2,438 prospective students applied, and 1,936 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 587 enrolled in the school.  2,546 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 685 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $38,550 plus fees of $940.
