Overview

Ohio State University-Mansfield Campus is a regional campus located in Mansfield, Ohio, approximately 80 miles north of Columbus. It was established in 1958 as a land-grant university, extending access to the Ohio State University education to students in North Central Ohio. Offering a serene and intimate setting, the Mansfield campus delivers a personalized college experience with the benefit of small class sizes. Students have the opportunity to begin one of over 200 Ohio State majors on the Mansfield Campus, and then transition to the Columbus campus to complete their studies, if desired. Popular majors at Mansfield include Business, Education, and Psychology. While the campus provides a quieter, more suburban atmosphere, it also offers on-campus housing options to foster an immersive educational environment. Ohio State Mansfield does not prominently feature in athletics; however, extracurricular activities and community engagement are highlighted. Admissions at Ohio State University-Mansfield are considered less selective compared to its main campus, adhering to the aim of accommodating a broader range of the student population.

Ohio State University Mansfield Campus has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  652 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 176 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $8,677 plus fees of $267.
