Chadron State College, established in 1911, is a public institution nestled in the Nebraska Panhandle, approximately 100 miles from Rapid City, South Dakota. Occupying a 281-acre campus, the college is characterized by its rural setting and the neo-gothic architecture of its historic buildings. Offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, this institution is recognized particularly for disciplines in education, business, and rangeland management. The college maintains a moderately selective admissions process. Chadron State provides on-campus housing options, including residence halls and family apartments, to accommodate its student body.
