Bethany College

Overview

Bethany College, located in Lindsborg, Kansas, is a small liberal arts college founded in 1881 with roots in the Lutheran tradition. The campus showcases Swedish-influenced architecture, reflecting the town's cultural heritage, and is situated approximately 20 minutes south of Salina, offering a blend of rural tranquility and access to urban amenities. Bethany College provides residential facilities to accommodate its student body and is known for fostering a close-knit campus community. With a selection process that is moderately selective, the college offers a variety of undergraduate programs, with notable emphasis on fine arts and education. Although Bethany College does not have an extensive profile in intercollegiate athletics, it competes in the NAIA as the Swedes.

In the most recent statistical year 3,521 prospective students applied, and 2,325 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 259 enrolled in the school.  678 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 66 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $29,200 plus fees of $2,105.
