Overview

Indiana University-Kokomo, a regional campus of the Indiana University system, is situated in Kokomo, Indiana, approximately 50 miles north of Indianapolis. Established in 1945, the institution serves as a public university with a focus on providing both undergraduate and graduate education. The campus fosters an intimate learning environment, spread over a 51-acre area that is characterized by contemporary architecture. Indiana University-Kokomo is known for offering a variety of academic programs, with an emphasis on nursing, business, education, and sciences that cater to a range of professional and academic interests. While the university maintains a liberal acceptance policy, its admissions process is holistic, evaluating applicants on multiple criteria. On-campus housing is not available, as the institution primarily serves commuting students. In the most recent statistical year 1,972 prospective students applied, and 1,691 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 517 enrolled in the school.  2,087 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 759 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $7,274 plus fees of $667.
