Overview

MiraCosta College, established in 1934, is a public community college located in the coastal city of Oceanside, California, roughly 40 miles north of San Diego. The college offers a variety of academic programs, with a strong emphasis on liberal arts, science, and vocational courses. MiraCosta serves a diverse student body with options for associate degrees, certificate programs, and transfer agreements to four-year universities. The college operates across multiple campuses, with the main campus set in a suburban environment characterized by its modern architecture and expansive views.
