Menlo College

Overview

Menlo College, located in the affluent town of Atherton, California, is a private institution established in 1927, primarily focusing on business education within a small college environment. Situated in the Silicon Valley, approximately 30 miles from San Francisco, the campus offers a picturesque setting known for its historically-rich, Spanish colonial architecture. Menlo provides a tight-knit academic community with an emphasis on business, psychology, and marketing majors, among others. The college maintains a moderately selective admissions process and is characterized by an emphasis on a practical, experience-based education. Residential life is an integral component of the Menlo experience, with a variety of student housing options available on campus. Menlo College supports a number of student athletes and teams, known as the Oaks, though the institution is not predominantly recognized for its athletic programs on a larger scale.

In the most recent statistical year 3,357 prospective students applied, and 2,072 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 203 enrolled in the school.  776 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 24 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $48,260 plus fees of $830.
