The undergraduate degree which initially pays the highest is Design and Applied Arts with a median starting salary of $21,700 followed by Crafts/Craft Design, Folk Art and Artisanry paying $20,100 and Dance graduates who have a median starting income of $19,700 .

Looking at post-graduate and doctorate students, those completing the Teacher Education and Professional Development, Specific Subject Areas (Master's Degree) program rank first with a median initial income of $42,500 followed by Museology/Museum Studies (Master's Degree) at $33,300 .
