Overview

Lakeland Community College, established in 1967, is a public institution located in Kirtland, Ohio, approximately 30 miles east of Cleveland. The campus features modern facilities nestled in a suburban environment, offering a tranquil academic setting with a variety of associate degree programs and certificates. Known for its emphasis on transfer pathways, Lakeland allows students to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree before transitioning to a four-year institution. Lakeland Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,248 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,372 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,927 plus fees of $550.
