New York School of Interior Design

Overview

Established in 1916, the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) is a private college dedicated exclusively to the discipline of interior design and located in the vibrant Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. Renowned for its specialized focus on interior design, NYSID offers undergraduate and graduate programs, including a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design, which are sought after for their rigorous, practice-based curriculum. In the most recent statistical year 169 prospective students applied, and 110 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 27 enrolled in the school.  292 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 341 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $27,600 plus fees of $980.
