Overview

University of the Southwest, located in Hobbs, New Mexico, is a private, four-year educational institution established in 1962. Set in a rural atmosphere, the university emphasizes a personalized learning experience with a Christian perspective across its diverse academic offering. University of the Southwest has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  499 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 567 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $17,000 plus fees of $200.
