Westminster College

Overview

Westminster College, located in Fulton, Missouri, is a private liberal arts college with a campus distinguished by its mix of historic and contemporary architecture. Situated roughly 25 miles east of the state capital, Jefferson City, the college is immersed in a quaint small-town atmosphere while remaining within reach of urban amenities. Founded in 1851, Westminster has a storied history that includes the renowned "Iron Curtain" speech delivered by Winston Churchill in 1946 on its campus. Westminster offers a range of undergraduate programs, with business, communications, and the social sciences among the more popular majors. The college maintains a moderately selective admissions process. On-campus living is available to students, with a variety of housing options to enhance the collegiate experience. Westminster does not have a particular emphasis on athletics, instead focusing its efforts on providing a well-rounded academic and social environment.

In the most recent statistical year 2,051 prospective students applied, and 1,544 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 161 enrolled in the school.  602 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 8 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $30,248 plus fees of $2,896.
