USM is fortunate to have such a beautiful campus with aesthetically pleasing architecture. The faculty are world class; most are published in top journals within their academic disciplines. Support for Southern Miss Athletics is incredible; tons of school spirit amongst students, faculty, alums and community residents. Also, there are great restaurants in Hattiesburg which I believe results from the proximity to New Orleans. You can't go wrong with a degree from USM!
