Overview

Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC), located in Moorhead, Mississippi, is a public two-year institution founded in 1926 that offers a wide array of vocational, technical, and academic programs. Situated in the rural heart of the Mississippi Delta region, the college is a drive from the larger city of Jackson. MDCC?s campus exudes a quiet and focused learning environment surrounded by the characteristic landscapes of the state. Mississippi Delta Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,374 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 665 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,290 plus fees of $90.

Mississippi Delta Community College is designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and receives federal grants supporting the school's efforts to serve low and middle-income Black Americans.
