Marygrove College

Overview

Marygrove College, a private, liberal arts institution situated in Detroit, Michigan, has a history that dates back to its establishment by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1905. Though its undergraduate programs closed in 2019, marking a significant transition for the institution, Marygrove continued to offer graduate programs until its permanent closure in December 2021. Known for its iconic Liberal Arts Building featuring a Gothic architectural style, Marygrove College was set in an urban environment providing students with a blend of academic and cultural experiences.
