The Academic advisors help a lot. Always talk to them before registering for classes. Try to avoid taking classes that won't count to your major. Do as much as you can at CCBC before transferring to a university, as long as your credits transfer. Talk to an advisor about transfer credits. Contact the prospective university you want to transfer to and verify everything ccbc tells you (Including transferable classes). All this info is online too. Verify! Verify! Verify! Also, apply for FASFA annually! Do it!

Graduated with engineering tech degree, man professor asked in a rude way whether I was in the wrong class, just because I was the only woman. UNBELIEVABLE professors not acting professionally at what they consider a top school.SO CLEARLY CCBC DOES NOT SUPPORT WOMEN AT STEM FIELDS. Professors did not teach, neither they were helpful to provide with any recommendation letters, just lazy.Also, my engineering technology degree was a waste since they declare in their website that the credits are transferable, but at my 4 year university my engineering tech classes did not even count as electives, waste of the money and time.
