Overview

Lewis and Clark Community College (LCCC) is a public, two-year higher education institution located in Godfrey, Illinois. Established in 1970, the college occupies a scenic campus on the grounds of the former Monticello College, blending historic architecture with modern facilities, and is situated near the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers, approximately 30 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri. LCCC serves a diverse student population and offers a wide range of academic programs, with particular emphasis on nursing, criminal justice, and transfer options for students aiming to continue their education at four-year institutions. The college operates with an open admissions policy, catering to a regionally representative mix of both traditional and non-traditional students. While residential facilities are not provided on campus, LCCC supports various student services to facilitate off-campus housing. Lewis and Clark Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,264 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 2,709 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $9,000 plus fees of $552.
