Overview

Chaminade University of Honolulu, situated in Honolulu, Hawaii, offers students a picturesque campus within a major metropolitan area, just minutes from downtown Honolulu. This private Catholic university, founded in 1955 by the Society of Mary, is the only Marianist institution of higher education in the Pacific region. The university's academic profile includes a range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, with a particular emphasis on fields such as Criminal Justice, Nursing, Education, and Psychology. Chaminade is characterized by a moderately selective admissions process. In the most recent statistical year 1,381 prospective students applied, and 1,290 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 303 enrolled in the school.  1,869 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 500 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $28,430 plus fees of $114.
