Absolutely terrible college. The professors will never help. They will tell you to just read your book and will spend half the time lecturing students about how ?you are in college now and you?re not acting like adults when you get to a university they won?t accept how you are.? They are overpaid Highschool teachers who don?t care for their job or students. Good luck if you?re someone who has a disability they will treat you worse. Very conservative, biased, with low diversity. Classes are not held in designated areas pertaining to the subject. Many of the professors teaching course don't have degrees in the subjects they are teaching (i.e. Sociology professors teaching history). They are limited with their courses and availability, charge extra for online classes, and very few professors exhibit flexibility. Their attitudes are not upholding their "christian values" and it's almost like attending ...   Read the full review...

As a current student here at BYU, one should know that the party life is absolutely non-existent. This is due to the religious views in life. I feel like one should stay clear of BYU. I would rather suggest Metro-Community College. SIKE!!! BYU has an intense underground party life. They be smoking it up down there....   Read the full review...

I went to this school and absolutely do not recommend. The airplanes are old, not well maintained. This school has a history of mechanical issues. They will claim 50 working aircraft but that is a lie. They want your money and don't care about you. Please find a new school. Aviator is the worst flight school I've seen and ive been to a few. Do not get sucked in by the athletics. They recruit way above and beyond what they need for the team. Football has over 150 players, women's VB 33, men's BB, 65+, etc.... They over recruit because they need the tuition money to keep the university open. Sprint football, swimming and others are all new sports. They need the tuition $$. ...   Read the full review...

As a former graduate of HFU, I am very grateful for the solid education received and the upbeat atmosphere. I was an RN who returned to school to obtain my BSN. Having graduated from the high school that shares the same campus, Holy Family was not my first or fourth choice. I entered for practical reasons? 5-minutes from work and school as I continued to work as a Critical Care RN throughout college. I eventually came to appreciate and enjoy the four years spent there an...   Read the full review...

I loved my four years at Gettysburg. Campus is beautiful and adjacent to town of Gettysburg, which has everything a student could need. Food is as good as you will find at a college. Social life was driven by Greek life, and some townie bars, so if that is not your thing you could find it limiting if that is not your thing. This is not a city school or a big state U, so if that is wha you are looking for it is probably not the place for you but I loved it. Kids are g...   Read the full review...

My experience is from many years ago in Engineering. I have worked and studied with graduates of many Engineering programs. My observations suggest Berkeley puts more emphasis on theory and fundamentals - i.e. how the formulas are derived and how things really work from physics. It served me very well at work and when I later when worked on my MS from Stanford. No school teaches undergrad engineers cutting edge.
