Kilian Community College

Overview

Kilian Community College, located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a private institution established in 1977 with a focus on personalized education and flexible learning options suited for a diverse student body. This college, set in an urban environment, offers a variety of associate degrees and certificate programs, with popular majors including Business Administration, Information Technology, and Human Services. Though non-residential, the college seeks to accommodate its commuter students with resources to facilitate their education journey. Kilian Community College adopts an open admissions policy, allowing for a broadly inclusive student population. However, as of 2016, Kilian Community College announced its closure and is no longer operating.

Kilian Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  12 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 158 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $10,980 plus fees of $1,800.
