Overview

Alpena Community College (ACC), established in 1952, is a two-year public community college located in Alpena, Michigan, a small city nestled on the shores of Lake Huron. Offering a range of associate degrees, certificates, and transfer programs, ACC is known for its emphasis on occupational and technical education, meeting the needs of both full-time and part-time students. Alpena Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  495 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,041 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $6,930 plus fees of $630.
