With a 18 on the ACT, these are the colleges you should have a chance to get into.

CollegeSimply analyzed the most recent published freshman class ACT scores for all U.S. colleges and found 573 schools where a 18 places you within or slightly outside the middle fifty percent of admitted students. The colleges are ranked by their position on our best colleges ranking and thus represent the better schools you may be able to get into and those which have historically accepted a 18.

Is a 18 on the ACT a good score? You can probably do better. It places you in the bottom 38th percentile nationally out of the 2 million students taking the ACT this year.

For comparison purposes, a 18 on the ACT converts to a 950 on the SAT based on College Board concordance for the new SAT. Not all colleges report both SAT and ACT score admission data so you should check our comparable listings for both standardized tests to find academically similar schools.
