Overview

Carroll University, established in 1846, is a private liberal arts college located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, approximately 20 miles west of Milwaukee. As the oldest institution of higher education in the state, Carroll maintains a historic campus interspersed with modern facilities, reflecting a blend of traditional and contemporary architecture. Encompassing a more personalized educational experience, the university offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on health sciences, business, and education. While the institution maintains a moderately selective admissions process, it is poised to cater to a diverse student body seeking both academic rigor and comprehensive growth. In the most recent statistical year 4,728 prospective students applied, and 3,411 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 674 enrolled in the school.  2,988 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 295 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $35,360 plus fees of $830.
