Overview

Alderson Broaddus University, located in Philippi, West Virginia, is a private institution established in 1871, amalgamating the traditions of Alderson Academy and Broaddus Institute. Nestled in the scenic foothills of the Allegheny Mountains, the university presents a rural setting approximately 40 miles south of Morgantown, offering a serene campus atmosphere. In the most recent statistical year 1,693 prospective students applied, and 1,041 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 191 enrolled in the school.  702 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 65 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $31,200 plus fees of $300.
