Wenatchee Valley College (WVC), located in the central Washington city of Wenatchee, is a public, two-year community college providing a scenic campus environment against the backdrop of the Columbia River and nearby Cascade Mountains. Established in 1939, the college operates a main campus in Wenatchee and an additional campus in Omak. Wenatchee Valley College offers associate degrees, professional and technical certificates, and adult education programs. While the institution is less selective with an open admissions policy, WVC is particularly known for its strong programs in agriculture, allied health, and environmental systems and sustainability. There is no on-campus housing, encouraging students to integrate with the local community. The college does not have a notable intercollegiate athletics program, thus focusing more on its academic offerings and community enrichment.
Wenatchee Valley College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student. 1,742 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 787 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,458 plus fees of $510.
