Overview

Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is a two-year public institution located in Middletown, Virginia, with additional campuses in Fauquier and Luray-Page, and a center in Vint Hill. In proximity to the Northern Virginia metropolitan area, LFCC serves eight localities within the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia. Established in 1970, LFCC serves as an educational and cultural center for its surrounding rural communities. The college offers a wide range of associate degree programs, certificate programs, and workforce training options. While the college has an open admissions policy, certain programs might have competitive entry due to limited capacity or specific academic requirements. Some of its distinguished programs include health professions, business and information technology, and engineering and technical studies. LFCC does not provide on-campus housing options. Lord Fairfax Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  1,745 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 3,975 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $4,620 plus fees of $119.
