Overview

Hampden-Sydney College, established in 1775, is a private men's college located in Hampden-Sydney, Virginia. Situated on a rural campus of more than 1,300 acres, the institution is approximately 60 miles southwest of Richmond, offering a traditional liberal arts education. The college architecture reflects the Federal style, complemented by a landscape that includes groves of hardwoods and the surrounding rolling countryside.
