Ferrum College is a private liberal arts institution located in Ferrum, Virginia, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with a considerable campus expanse comprising predominantly of Colonial Revival architecture. Established in 1913, the college provides a scenic environment approximately 35 miles south of Roanoke, embracing a rural atmosphere amid picturesque landscapes. Ferrum offers a range of undergraduate degrees with a particular focus on programs within environmental science, agricultural sciences, and teacher education, reflecting its origins as a school of agriculture.
