Overview

Texas Tech University, established in 1923 and a cornerstone of Lubbock, offers a quintessential college atmosphere set against the backdrop of Spanish Renaissance architecture throughout its expansive campus. In the most recent statistical year 35,400 prospective students applied, and 23,837 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 6,809 enrolled in the school.  34,129 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 6,249 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $8,935 plus fees of $2,917.
