Texas State was the worst six years of my life. The only good thing about going to Texas State was experiencing God and His Love for me through His One True Church, the Catholic Church, and by the intercession of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary and that there were kind people who cared about me and accepted me. Texas State University provides an outstanding college atmosphere with a sense of belonging to something greater than the individual student. What ended up being the greatest reward for me was the post graduation opportunities provided by Alumni. All I heard growing up was hype about A&M and UT Alumni; to my surprise, Texas State Alumns provided me my first two career advancements after college. I highly recommend Texas State University no matter SAT/ACT score it has something to offer every student!

The school is gorgeous and world class. Students pride themselves on the spring-fed river, local businesses and their proximity to jobs/internships in nearby big cities Austin and San Antonio.
