Richland College

Overview

Richland College, part of the Dallas College system, is a two-year community college located in Dallas, Texas. Established in 1972, the college is positioned in an urban setting approximately 10 miles from downtown Dallas, offering a diverse and multicultural atmosphere. With a focus on associate degrees and certificates, Richland College provides a variety of academic pathways, including in-demand fields like business, engineering, technology, and liberal arts. Admission to the institution is considered open, welcoming a broad range of students each academic term. Richland College does not provide on-campus student housing facilities. While the college emphasizes academic and vocational training, it does not prominently feature an athletics program. Richland College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  3,944 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 16,088 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $3,330 plus fees of $0.
