Overview

Le Moyne-Owen College, a private historically black college, is situated in Memphis, Tennessee, providing an urban educational setting to its student body. Founded in 1862 as an outcome of the merger of LeMoyne College and Owen College in 1968, the institution carries a rich heritage with an emphasis on liberal arts education.
