Presentation College

Overview

Presentation College is a private Catholic institution situated in Aberdeen, South Dakota, offering a liberal arts education rooted in the Catholic tradition. Founded in 1951 by the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the college provides a focused academic experience in health and natural sciences, with nursing being one of its most prominent programs. Encompassing a serene campus with a mix of modern and traditional architecture, Presentation College affords students both a tranquil atmosphere and an intimate learning environment due to its small size. While the college maintains a relatively inclusive admissions policy, it is selective, seeking students who demonstrate potential for success within its specialized curriculums. The college also offers on-campus living options to cultivate an immersive educational experience. Although not widely recognized for its athletics, Presentation College fields several teams, known as the Saints, in intercollegiate competition.

In the most recent statistical year 557 prospective students applied, and 421 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 80 enrolled in the school.  400 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 215 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $22,384 plus fees of $380.
