Thiel College

Overview

Thiel College, a private liberal arts institution, is situated in Greenville, Pennsylvania, approximately 80 miles north of Pittsburgh. Founded in 1866, Thiel establishes a robust historical presence with a campus showcasing a mix of traditional red-brick architecture and modern facilities. Primed for undergraduate education, the campus fosters a close-knit academic environment with a range of popular major fields including business administration, communication sciences and disorders, and environmental safety management. Thiel maintains a selective admissions process. The residential campus offers a variety of housing options for students, including traditional dormitories, apartment-style living, and townhouse accommodations. While not primarily known for its athletic programs, Thiel hosts a number of varsity teams competing in NCAA Division III, known as the Tomcats.

In the most recent statistical year 1,878 prospective students applied, and 1,546 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 229 enrolled in the school.  881 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 26 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $33,620 plus fees of $1,830.
